What we collect, which is little and mostly up to you, and what we do with it — written to be checked against the site rather than to cover us.

Who we are
Future Gen Studio Ltd is the controller for the personal data described here. Write to hello@futuregenstudio.com about anything on this page, including a request to see, correct or delete what we hold.
What this policy covers
This policy covers this website and the enquiries that reach us through it.
Work we do for a client is governed by the engagement contract signed for it, and the data in a client’s own systems belongs to that client — we process it on their instructions, not our own. FutureGen Agent and FutureGen Hotel Booking are covered by the agreement that comes with each of them.
What we collect
What you send us, the logs any website produces by being online, and — only if you accept it — visit statistics from Google Analytics.
- Enquiries. The enquiry panel on this site opens your own email client with a message addressed to us. Nothing is submitted to a server here — you send us an email, and we hold that email.
- Demo requests. The FutureGen Hotel Booking demo form asks for your property, number of rooms, website, country, where your bookings come from now, what you use at the moment, and your name, email, phone and notes. It is delivered to us by email, or posted to a workflow endpoint we control. This site has no database, and the form writes to none.
- Chat. The FutureGen Agent chat on every page is our own product, loaded from agentai.futuregenstudio.com. When you use it, your messages, and any name or email you choose to give it, are sent to that application and stored there so it can answer and so we can reply. When a page loads, it keeps a random visitor ID in your browser’s local storage so it can recognise a returning visitor, and it holds an open conversation in session storage, which clears when you close the tab. The cookie policy lists each item it stores.
- Analytics, if you accept. With your consent, Google Analytics records the pages you view, how you arrived, your browser and device, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and which of our buttons you press (never what you type), tied to a random ID in a cookie. Nothing loads until you press Accept in the cookie notice; decline and nothing is collected. The cookie policy lists the cookies and lets you change your answer.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs — IP address, user agent, the page requested and when — to keep the site up and to stop abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
No advertising or tracking pixels, no social media trackers, no fingerprinting, and no profiling. Without your consent the only cookie this site sets is fgs-consent, which records your answer to the cookie notice and holds no identifier — see the cookie policy. The chat assistant uses browser storage rather than cookies, as described above. Fonts and images are served from this domain and the chat widget from our own agentai.futuregenstudio.com, so unless you accept analytics, loading a page here does not report your visit to anyone else.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Under the UK GDPR we rely on three bases. Taking steps at your request before entering a contract covers an enquiry or a demo request. Our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website covers server logs. Your consent covers Google Analytics.
You can withdraw that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, on the cookie policy page.
Who else sees it
Our email provider, which carries the messages, and our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps the logs. If you accept analytics, Google receives the visit data described above and processes it for us. All of them act for us under contract. Nobody else sees an enquiry unless you ask us to involve them.
If a provider we use processes data outside the UK, that transfer is covered by the UK’s approved safeguards — an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
An enquiry or demo request is kept while we are talking, and for up to 24 months after the last message, so a conversation picked up next year still makes sense. After that it is deleted.
If we work together, project correspondence is kept for the life of the engagement and for six years afterwards, which is what UK tax and contract records require. Server logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider retains them, which is weeks rather than years. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted by Google.
Ask us to delete something earlier and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have it corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict or stop using it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@futuregenstudio.com and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first — and if that does not resolve it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect changes, this page changes before the collection starts, and the date at the top changes with it. Anything that needs consent, as Google Analytics does, asks before its script loads, not afterwards.
